I know, I'm not the only one, who thinks Channel 4's threat to broadcast a private conversation Princess Diana had about the state of her marriage, and her relationship with the royals, as salaciously, intrusive, gossip.

Why can't the unscrupulous media let the poor woman lay in her grave in peace.

I don't believe anyone is fooled for a single moment by the claptrap nonsense that the tape is being broadcast in the public interest. What public interest? Cheap nose value – that's all.

PLEASE – we are not that stupid. It's about viewing figures.

Is anyone really that interested?

William and Harry, may be princes but they are also sons, who at an early age lost a mother they clearly loved. So why put them through more pain and grief?  

The best way to show Channel 4, it's a shitty thing to do, publicly washing the dirty linen of their parents failed marriage, is not to watch the wretched program. I'm not going to.

The woman is dead. The man remarried – to the woman he should have married in the first place.

I say, let the living get on with their lives – and leave the dead alone.

The peoples Princess should be allowed the dignity in death that the media never gave her when she was alive.
