Are humans the descendants of extra terrestrials?

Who were these sons of God? 

They have been given many names over the centuries, but perhaps the most remembered is the - Anunnaki - 

Many serious minded people believe they were aliens who visited Earth in the distant past.

I have often considered the genetic leap from Neanderthal man to that of Homo Sapiens was one gigantic jump. 40,000 years ago Neanderthals vanished, and were replaced by Homo Sapiens - why? How?

It is not known why Neanderthals became extinct or why only Homo sapiens survived, but supposing, the Neanderthals were not killed off by modern man, as one theory suggests, nor did they interbreed with man, as another theory proposes, but rather Neanderthals were genetically altered by a more advanced civilisation from the stars.

The bible is littered with accounts of 'angels'  from heaven breeding with man.

In the book of Enoch - 'The book of Watchers' - he speaks of ' Fallen Angels'  who came down to Earth, and had children with the daughters of men. 

The teacher in my psychic development circle, often talked about tall dark shadowy beings that stood at the end of her bed, watching over her at night.

She had no idea who they were. It was only years later that I discovered, her description of her guardian 'spirits', matched that of the Anunnaki. 

Were these Watchers sent down to Earth to watch over man. Watch over? Or oversee? As in, masters to slaves.

Which brings me back to the idea of genetic engineering. 

Were the Anunnaki aliens in need of a workforce to mine gold? 

Over the years archaeologists have discovered literally thousands of ancient gold mines. A gold mine dating back to over 200,000 years, has been found in South Africa.  

This is a very interesting article from Newsrescue about this find that gives credence to the idea of man being cultivated by a more advanced species.

There is a vast amount of ancient documentation that mentions celestial beings - one in particular is that of the texts found in what was once Sumeria, and is now Iraq. 

The word Anunnaki translates from the ancient Sumerian - those who Anu sent from heaven to Earth.

If you look at the picture at the beginning of this article - doesn't it look like the figure is wearing a wristwatch? 

Where the Sumerians themselves came from, historians are not actually sure - they seem to have just appeared - their city Nineveh - was extremely sophisticated - having been built on a grid system similar to the grid systems in modern cities.

It was the biblical scholar and author of several books regarding the subject of the Anunnaki, Zecharia Sitchin,  who proposed the theory that the Anunnaki were aliens that had visited Earth to mine for gold. They used their own DNA to advance the troglodyte population they found inhabiting the planet. Of course, sadly, as always seems to be the case, today's scientific establishment dismisses his ideas as nonsense.

Followers and readers of Zecharia Sitchin will know that the information about Nibiru comes from the Sumerians and the writing and artifacts they, and other ancient people, left behind. Our modern calendar - dividing the year into 12 lunar months, was again devised by the Sumerians. They also invented how we tell time. There is quite a long list of things the Sumerians thought of first.

The 360 degree circle. Geometry. Wheeled vehicles. Domesticating animals. Irrigation. Medicine and dentistry - are just a few of the inventions the Sumerians knew long before anyone else.

And finally - they knew about our solar system.

This picture clearly shows the sun being encircled by a planetary system. They knew about all the planets in our solar system, whilst we only discovered Pluto, in - 1930. If you look closely at the picture you will see a 12th planet.

According to the Sumerians the 12th planet is called Nibiru. The mystery - planet X - that has scientists, and the like, in a frenzy of speculation, and is the subject of many conspiracy theories. One of which is that it is heading toward Earth!

For a society that dates back to at least 6000 BC, all this advanced knowledge adds up to a lot of civilisation for a people who were supposedly at the dawn of civilisation.

So what does all this mean for today's religious beliefs? 

It is a deep question that is a very long way from being answered. You can either think that the Anunnaki support man's belief in God or you can think these mysterious beings throw the whole question of religion into doubt. The choice is yours.


But, if, you look up into a clear starlit sky tonight -

will you not wonder about who and what the Anunnaki actually were?
